We are always happy to support events that celebrate innovation, critical thinking, and creativity, offering an enriching experience both for the speakers and the audience, and TEDxVerona embodies all of this.
Even more so when TEDxVerona becomes, for one emotionally charged Sunday, TEDxVeronaWomen – The Same Side of the Moon.
The stories and reflections shared on the stage of the Teatro Ristori by the speakers provided the audience with the opportunity to delve into and view from a different perspective the theme of gender equality, an issue that affects each of us and requires collective effort to build a more inclusive future. The event featured nine speakers, including entrepreneurs, athletes, illusionists, psychotherapists, and artists.

From Norma Rossetti, founder of MySecretCase, who brought her story to the stage and the taboos that her company seeks to break; to Florencia Andreola and Azzurra Muzzonigro, founders of Sex & the City, a social promotion association that studies urban spaces to ensure they are truly accessible to all.

From Martina Carone, communication director of Quorum/Youtrend, who shared her perspective with a political outlook that inevitably influences society; to Andrea Di Giandomenico, Technical Manager for the U19 Training Centers and the U18 National Team, as well as the former coach of the women’s national rugby team.

From Monica Defend, Head of Amundi Investment Institute, who reminded us not to forget the financial aspect that differs between men and women, and how women often find themselves economically dependent on their partners; to Barbara Leda Kenny, editor-in-chief of inGenere.it and expert on equal opportunity policies, who demonstrated how inequality affects daily life, even within the walls of the home.

From Massimo Giusti, psychologist, psychotherapist, and communicator, who explained how deeply rooted emotional dependency limits freedom, to the point where one doesn’t even notice its presence; to Stefano Bronzato, an Italian illusionist, who captivated the audience with a performance specifically designed for TEDxVeronaWomen.

And finally, Kaze, an artist and activist on issues of inclusion and diversity, who, following her speech, performed two of her songs dedicated to the theme of gender equality.

In short, an afternoon full of thought-provoking insights and inspiration to do more, stay informed, and educate those who still don’t see gender equality as the only way to create a truly inclusive and fair society.
We can only thank the organizers of TEDxVeronaWomen for bringing such a meaningful event to life. We believe it is important to promote these moments of sharing and networking, which also serve as training on the social aspects that everyone, without distinction, faces every day.
We at Different Factory are proud to be partners of TEDxVerona.
