On September 25th, during the roundtable organized by Data Manager, academics, representatives from the public and private sectors came together to discuss a crucial topic: how to address the challenges of modern cities in order to build a more efficient and sustainable future. This meeting highlighted the central role of technology as an indispensable tool to transform urban areas into true “smart cities.”
Smart Cities stand out for their ability to use resources more effectively, improving citizens’ quality of life while reducing environmental impact. Technology, now widespread across every application area, plays a key role in this transformation by integrating innovations that allow for more conscious management of urban resources.
Trilogis and Smart City Management
As emphasized by Nicola Giuliani during the event:
“For the management of Smart Cities, Trilogis has developed an integrated offer based on distributed monitoring both outdoor and indoor. Thanks to advanced technologies, we collect real-time data from buildings, infrastructures, and public spaces, providing a complete and up-to-date view of urban conditions. This approach allows us to address the challenges of modern cities, such as pollution and the growing demand for resources, contributing to sustainable and resilient urban development.”
Trilogis’ vision represents a concrete example of how targeted technological innovations can respond to new urban needs, addressing complex issues such as reducing emissions, energy savings, and infrastructure management.
High-Specialization Localization: Interview with Nicola Giuliani
Following the roundtable, Data Manager published an in-depth interview with Nicola Giuliani titled “High-Specialization Localization.” This article examines the new needs of cities and the solutions developed by Trilogis to address them. Thanks to an integrated system of monitoring and analysis, Trilogis is helping to define a model of urban development that focuses on sustainability and resilience, promoting a more intelligent use of resources.
This debate and the solutions outlined highlight how collaboration between technology, the public, and private sectors is the way to build future cities that are more livable, efficient, and environmentally friendly.
