2025: The Year of What’s New

As 2025 comes to a close, so do all the activities we launched, completed, or will carry forward into 2026.

Just like last year, we want to take a moment to look back and remind both you and ourselves how far we’ve come—and to start mapping out the path we will take in the year ahead.

Partnerships

The strength of our Group was reinforced first and foremost through its partnerships.

For the third consecutive year, we renewed our collaboration with Casa Max, the podcast dedicated to Italian national alpine skiing athletes, bringing you new inspiring episodes. Being able to support projects like Casa Max truly reflects our core values.

Once again this year, the Osservatori Digital Innovation allowed us to engage with diverse ecosystems, expanding the analytical scope and impact of our projects. We closely followed the Big Data & Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Observatories—the latter concluding its season in February with its Final Conference—as well as the Internet of Things Observatory, with which we will continue working well into 2026.

Our experience with TEDxVerona – Countdown was both symbolic and concrete: an opportunity to share Different Factory’s vision beyond company boundaries, contributing to a broader dialogue on climate change, sustainability, and the future.

Aligning with this focus on sustainability is our partnership with Treedom. With our Different Forest—now counting 900 trees—we are contributing to real change with a tangible environmental commitment, pairing the Group’s technological growth with a deep responsibility toward the Planet.

Our dialogue with the worlds of innovation and business also expanded through collaborations with IKN – Go Beyond in March and with Gartner. These occasions allowed the Group to benchmark against international scenarios, emerging trends, and best practices, strengthening our positioning as an organization capable of interpreting change and translating it into concrete solutions.

Our Companies

On the solution front, 2025 saw the birth and evolution of key tools for both the Group and its individual companies.

About Different developed the Data Ingestion Tool, marking a major step toward increasingly structured, scalable, and reliable data management. Meanwhile, Do Different’s Entity Match System addressed the need to bring order to complexity, improving data integration and information quality. These technologies were designed not just to solve technical issues, but to help our clients tackle daily challenges with data and records to make better decisions.

Different Factory’s digital presence also continued to evolve with the development of Anitia‘s new website—an expression of a clear and cohesive identity capable of conveying its expertise, projects, and vision.

Trilogis played a significant role by participating in events like Esri and bringing forward technologies such as the digital twin: another milestone confirming the Group’s ability to navigate between data, territory, and advanced simulation.

Training & Growth

2025 was also a year lived “in the field”. Our participation in industry events, allowed Different Factory to take an active role in conversations that matter, while investing in employee training reaffirmed a core belief: innovation stems from people even before technology. In this same spirit, the publication of our Sustainability Report served as a moment of clarity and transparency, highlighting the Group’s commitment to a responsible, measurable growth model.

Looking back, 2025 stands out as a year of connections: between companies and partners, technology and sustainability, vision and execution. It is not a endpoint, but rather a solid foundation upon which to build the next steps for Different Factory.
